The Canadian podcasting ecosystem has been fractured for years, and that means American podcasts have been dominating listening trends, indie podcasts have been over-shadowed, and talented Canadian freelance producers have been overlooked.

But the tides have started to shift.

Kattie Laur has been on a mission to find answers to a lot of the unanswered questions (and unanswered emails) that Canadian podcasters are having, and figure out what it’ll take to get the Canadian podcasting industry to a sustainable, equitable, and globally recognized place.

Based on learnings from research and interviews with major players in the Canadian podcasting space, this presentation aims to give you the full picture of where Canadian podcasting is at and where it’s headed.
